Today i want to see something new in Bangkok, that i haven’t seen before. After checking online for ideas i have realised that i couldn’t find anything, so i decided simply to browse around in one of the districts. I choose the area of Grand Palace and surroundings, that is mostly visited by tourists, but i was there maybe couple of times.

It happened to be super good decision: i explored it maybe 3 years ago when i was in Southeast Asia for the first time, so i definitely have missed several interesting things like old walls, royal cemetery, couple of nice Wats.

My favourite was Golden mountain or Wat Saket. I literally have heard nothing about it before and was so surprised, because it’s fantastic place. This is Wat, located on a small hill right in the heart of historical Bangkok, bringing good views and very charismatic itself.

In the late afternoon i had a beautiful sunset cruise on the river. It was a bit rainy, but still i have enjoyed it. I told you about it in previous post, so make sure to check it.

I really love that Bangkok still have awesome places that i haven’t seen before and so great that i can find them little by little.

At night i went to some bar and it was really great night and a bit crazy as it should be in Bangkok, when i have left literally when the bar was already closing it’s doors. 😃
