Mornings became much better when you have a glass of champagne to start the day, isn’t it?
After my yammy breakfast for 3 minutes i had an idea of going out of my X2 Koh Samui Resort and explore Koh Samui itself. I even checked the guide and things to do here But then i have realised, that i saw night markets, elephant and monkey shows, street food, waterfalls before. But having my own pool, villa, spa, one more amazing common pool, empty beach with white sand and almost no-one around is the thing that i don’t have so frequently. It’s definitely a big reason just be right here and right now. So that’s what today is mostly about!
X2 (pronouncing CROSS TO) at Koh Samui is located in a quite and a bit remote area. The place feels a bit secluded, but that’s what is paradise is all about, isn’t it? There are no crowds or big buzz of small shops and street stalls: mostly it’s all about relaxation, quietness and natural beauty. Getting here was surprisingly easy: i came by ferry and took shuttle from the Ferry company for 100baht per person (right on the pier it costs 150baht – 5$). There were only two of us in the mini bus and they have brought me right to the hotel.
X2 Koh Samui resort a place where you come to relax and spend several romantic days next to the beach with lots of privacy and everything that you need including unlimited SPA which is part of your stay. Some people call this resort hidden gem as it’s really a bit hidden, but that doesn’t mean secluded or empty: even during low season more than half of the resort was occupied and usually it’s totally booked for the top season, so make sense to reserve in advance.
The place provides a bit unique concept: they got 26 private villas, some goes with the private pool. You close your doors and you feel like you are at home: no-one will bother you, everything around is quite and peaceful. Even room service wouldn’t bother you till you leave the villa or ask for something. So you can literally do whatever you want (swim naked? :-)).
The villas themselves are very comfortable and stylish: large bad, beautiful design, amazing bathroom with state of art bathtub, coffee machine and beautiful outdoor area with sunbeds.
Common areas include gorgeous pool with amazing state of art design, restaurant, SPA centre and small gym. Breakfast is included and provides buffet options along with some a-la carte specialities if you want something special. Especially i loved eggs benedict, which goes perfectly with morning glass of champagne as part of breakfast buffet. SPA was also very nice, though requires advanced reservation . All the massages, facials, manicures, pedicures – everything you can imagine is included.
The beach right next to the X2 Koh Samui is nice natural and a bit secluded. There were not many people around and it’s possible to have a nice walk for a couple kilometres, but when i was there i preferred to swim in the pool (but i usually do prefer pools).
If you want to spend part of your holidays or even honeymoon just relaxing in a stylish atmosphere – that’s a place to consider. Here it’s easy to forget about the buzz of the world, refresh, reenergise and just to devote your time to each other! Exactly what we need from time to time!
