History, bunkers, feeling of adventure, georgeous scenery, out of the beaten path sites, nice beaches and affordable prices makes Albania very cool place to explore!
It’s definitely not the place for everyone as there was no luxury, some streets were dirty, there is still language and cultural barrier, transport is unpredictable and i had a feeling that I’m in Southeast asia much more than i could expect. But for those who is looking for something else while traveling it’s a paradise. It’s definitely absolutely another kind of Europe! But still, everyone around was willing to help, food was cool, sights were interesting, sea was clean and welcoming! So i definitely can say that Albania is not that tricky and complicated place to go as it feels from the first side! And now it’s working hard to improve and became more modern!
Major practical numbers:
15 days in Albania
6 places and 1 side trips
2 UNESCO World Heritage Site
83$/day for 2 people incl. everything
That goes with good modern accommodation almost all the time, restaurants every day, and almost everything i wanted to.
