Ksamil is a small beach village, located in Albania very close to the border of Greece. Corfu island is very close to it, you can easily spot it. While laying on the beach i see it very clearly as it is less than 4km away.
Ksamil is not super developed and itself looks exactly how you can imagine Albanian coastal town, but it’s beaches are pretty good. And it’s very affordable. Imagine renting something near the beach between Ionian and Adriatic sea in late July for 20€/day, sunbeds are 4$/2 person, food is really nice, dinner in beach restaurant costs 10-12$. It’s definitely a bargain, when you realise that people, who are 4 km away in Corfu paying few times more for the same.
