Old city centre of Korcula town is known as one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Europe and usually called mini-Dubrovnik. For a long time the island was part of venetian empire, so it’s huge influence is very obvious. Town is also famous as birthplace of Marco Polo.
As it’s getting hotter each day now, i came here after 6pm, had a nice walk around and went to the sunset cocktail at one of the good-looking bar. It is located on the top of the tower facing the sea and have a gorgeous view from todays picture from one side and impressive view to the surroundings from the other. To get to this bar you have to climb very tricky stairs. That’s the only way to get there. Interesting, but they have kitchen downstairs and use a lifting busket to bring prepared drinks to the top and used glasses back. Very fun!
