Day 178: My @airbnb in Bangkok

For my stay in Bangkok I choose apartments as I plan to stay here for couple of weeks. U booked literally 3 days in advance for the top dates of Thai New Year and got very good, but little bit more expensive apartments for around 200$/week (not the cheapest for Bangkok, but still very reasonable) and not in classical tourist area.
It happened to be really great choice. I stay in apartment at 27th floor with great view to the city at incredible condominium. They got absolutely gorgeous common facilities like great gym and amazing pool, which is more like system of several connected pool zones with hot tubes and bubbles, surrounded by trees. I mean, I never saw something like this before!
Firstly I was not very happy with the location, but after understanding what is what, I found it great. From one side I got public boats to the main commercial areas, from the other – Makassan train station. And on weekdays there is market for the office people next to me, so I can buy fresh fruits for the breakfast.
It’s almost only local and expat area, so as I’m visiting mostly not-famous-touristy places, I have unique chance to see absolutely different side of the city and avoid huge crowds. Absolutely love it!
